    Traditional Bows

At Barefoot Archery we classify Traditional archery as Long Bows and Recurves with heavy draw weight for hunting. In the history of archery long bows were replaced by recurves as recurves have currently been replaced by compound bows today. Most of our Traditional archers are previous compound shooters looking for more of a challenge. Locally we have the CTA (Carolina Traditional Archers) a group of Traditional archers that promote the use of primitive archery equipment. At Barefoot Archery we carry a selection of long bows and heavy hunting recurves for you to choose the right bow for you. learn more »
